Itinerary

Arrive in Sri Lanka, a coastal dream location. Head to Colombo, a stunning city made with modern architecture that still upholds the structures of the past. Spend day one in Colombo relaxing after your tiring journey.
On day two, leave Colombo and make your way to Kandy. In this city, you can see a variety of cultural locations. Start at the Temple of the Tooth Relic. This stunning location holds importance as it is the home of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Settle at your hotel and relax until nightfall, where you can stroll the town and enjoy traditional dance shows.
Make your way to Mahiyangana where you will be introduced to some interesting crafts. First, experience the process of making clay and learn about how it’s done. Then learn about the niche method of ‘Pan’ weaving at a village house. After this fun experience, enjoy an authentic lunch where you will get to experience Rice and Curry. Observe two hidden wonders by trekking to see the Rathna Ella and Kaluwa Wetuna Ella. Take pictures of this location to commemorate the memories.
While in Mahiyangana, head to the Dambana Vedda Village. In this interesting location, you can meet the native ‘Vedda’ of Sri Lanka. These people uphold customs and traditions that date back centuries. Enjoy a bush walk through the Jungle while listening to their tales. Walk through the mountains to see caves and finally enjoy a BBQ dinner amongst the Veddas while they do their traditional dances.
Bid farewell to Mahiyangana and go to Gal Oya. The Gal Oya National Park is the next leg of the journey, where you can enjoy a picnic lunch. Afterwards, tour the Gal Oya National Park where you will come across the diverse wildlife of this untouched park.
Head to the Gal Oya Vedda Village where you will meet the chief. Walk through the jungles of his ancestors as he explains the history of this location. Listen to songs of their native tongue as they display the hunting grounds that were once the lifeline of their people.
Early in the morning, take a boat safari in the Gal Oya National Park. This park is considered one of the most untouched and untamed locations in Sri Lanka. Every moment you witness while within will be authentic to nature, making it one of the most magnificent rides. Afterwards, visit a local residence that will provide you with a legitimate cooking experience and dinner. Head to Ella.
While in Ella, you can hike the stunning Little Adam’s Peak where you can see the Ella Gap, a breathtaking sight of mountain ranges. Then visit the Nine Arches Bridge where you can take pictures of trains as they pass by. Enjoy these final memorable moments in Sri Lanka.
Head out of Weligama and make your way to the airport to depart Sri Lanka.
