Itinerary

Arrive in Sri Lanka and make your way to Negombo. Here, you will be allowed to spend the rest of the day relaxing by the beach or to start the adventure and tour the city. In this city lies the St. Mary’s Church, which is known for the murals of Lord Christ that were painted long ago.
At the dawn of day two, make your way to Kandy. This city is known for the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the architecture of it. Visit the city and take a tour through the fascinating locations. Observe the splendour of the architecture of the temple located by the lake.
Head to Sigiriya on Day Three to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Sigiriya Rock Fortress is a massive structure that acted as a fortress in the past. See the frescoes that align the rocky walls as you climb to the top where the seat of the monarch is. The views from the top will leave you amazed. The next day, head to Minneriya to see the National Park which is home to a large population of wild elephants. After exploring the national park, tour the village and get to know the villagers.
Nilaveli beach is the next stop of this journey. Head to the Pigeon Island Marine National Park where you can dive into the sea to explore the marine life and coral reefs. Afterwards, head to the golden sandy beach to relax. On day six, head to Koneswaram Temple. You can see the splendour of this temple from the moment you enter.
Spend two days resting and unwinding at Pasikuda Beach. Enjoy drinks and food from nearby vendors as you bask in the sun. If you wish, you can do some exciting water sports.
Head to Arugam Bay, a beach that is extremely popular among those who love taking part in water-based activities. Spend the day surfing the intense waves as you enjoy the thrill of adventure. Spend day ten relaxing on the beach before starting the adventures of the next day.
Early in the morning of day eleven, make your way to Yala, where you will take an exciting jeep safari through the Yala National Park. This park is most well-known for its large population of leopards. It is the best place to visit to see the leopards in action.
Make your way to Unawatuna on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. On your first day here, spend time at the Galle Dutch Fort where you can see the pristine view of the fort which is considered one of the best-preserved sea forts in Asia. On the morning of day thirteen, head to Mirissa where you will go out to sea on a boat to see whales as they migrate. There can be various species of whales such as the blue whale, the sperm whale or the Bryde’s whale. Rest for a bit after this excursion and take part in a cooking class to learn how to make some traditional Sri Lankan dishes.
On the last day before departure, visit Colombo city. This is a modern city with hints of history blending into the architecture. Tour the city and visit fascinating locations like the Independence Square, the National Museum or the Galle Face Green Promenade.
Depart Sri Lanka on the final day of the trip.
