Sight: Ridiyagama Safari

This wildlife safari park is zoned into 6 habitats. In each of these habitats, the biome is constructed in order to please the animal type which exists here. It is a fascinating location that should be visited when in Sri Lanka.

Sight: Yala Jeep Safari

The National Park is the best location to catch a glimpse of leopards. Explore the wildlife which lives in this national park. Come across leopards, elephants and sloth bears which are endangered. Travel through the park as you pass by valleys and fields of green that are inhabited by various animals.

Sight: Walawe River Safari

The Walawe River Safari is an intriguing boat trip that offers an incredible adventure while winding through stunning landscapes. As you traverse the calm waters of the Walawe River, a natural setting unfolds before your eyes. Get to know a variety of creatures including playful monkeys daring crocodiles and serene water buffaloes.

Sight: Birds Research Center & Resort

With over 180 species and 3200 birds residing in this research centre, it is considered one of the best places to go birdwatching. It is a nesting ground for various species of birds, making it an interesting location to picture birds in different life cycles.

Sight: Maheepalassa Hot Springs

Located in the middle of large paddy fields between Sooriyawewa and Ridiyagama, the Maheepalassa Hot Springs is an exciting location to enjoy the warmth of natural spring water. It has become a famous location among both locals and tourists.
