Itinerary

Head to Negombo on day one to explore the sights. Here you can visit the St. Mary’s Church. This church is just one of the many that are located in Negombo. The murals of Jesus Christ and the statues make it an interesting visit. Negombo is known as ‘Little Rome’ due to a number of churches.

On day two, make your way to Polonnaruwa. On the way, you can make a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Visit the elephants that are being cared for. Sigiriya is the next stop on this trip. Here you can visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, where stunning frescoes adorn the walls. On the top, be amazed by the sight of the valleys and forests. Once you arrive in Polonnaruwa, head to your lodging to check-in.
In the morning, tour this city that was the second capital of Sri Lanka during the eleventh and twelfth centuries. It is known for the technological advancements which took place during this time. Then, head to Kandy.
In Kandy, you can view some of the most iconic locations in Sri Lanka. Loved by both locals and tourists, the Temple of the Tooth Relic is a stunning location. See the magnificent architecture of this location. Head to Peradeniya to view the scenic beauty of the Botanical Gardens. It is a stunning sight. Shop for some of the age-old traditional crafts such as batiks, gems silks and wood carvings.
Early in the morning, head to Nuwara Eliya. It is in the central hills of Sri Lanka. It is a vacation location for locals as it has a cooler atmosphere than most of the country. The hills of Nuwara Eliya are often decorated by tea bushes. These allow for a splendid sight as you can see flashes of the bright colour of the tea pluckers’ sarees. Visit a plantation and a factory where you can sample some fresh tea. Head back to Kandy to spend the night.
Make your way to the southern coast where you can engage in fun water activities and relaxation. Arrive at the Galle where you can see the most well-preserved sea fort in Asia. Spend some time at the beach where you can enjoy the sights of the blue sea stretching out into the horizon.
Spend this day surfing the waters, diving into the sea where you can see marine life and coral reefs or travelling around visiting the historic sights. There is something fun to do at every turn on the southern coast.
Bid farewell to the southern coast and make your way to Colombo. This is a modern city that is filled with stunning sights and fun nightlife activities. When you arrive in Colombo, visit the town and walk around the area where you can go shopping and dining. At night you can visit the locations where the nightlife is lively.
Depart Colombo and head to the airport where you can catch a flight back to your home country.
